Sharon Darlene (Cartwright) Sterba

   It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Sterba of Blairmore, AB on August 11, 2016 at the Chinook Regional Hospital, Lethbridge, AB.  Sharon slipped away from us at the young age of 68 years.

   Sharon was born on December 16, 1947 in Blairmore, AB to proud parents, Charles and Margret Cartwright.

   In her free time, Sharon enjoyed curling and never missed an opportunity to go camping and appreciate the beauty of nature.  She also loved music, especially Elvis, and trips to Las Vegas.  Sharon loved her family and friends unconditionally.  Her happiest moments were spent in the company of her family and she will be missed by them all.

   Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her sons, Clint (Susan) Sterba of Okotoks, AB and Craig Sterba of Blairmore, AB; her grandchildren, Shayla, Cara and Ben; her brother, John Bazan of Blairmore, AB; her sisters, Jean Shannon of Millet, AB, Lynn Dalke of Hillcrest, AB, and Charlene Barlow of Hillcrest, AB; as well as the many friends she made throughout her life.

   She was predeceased by her husband, Muftey Wakaluk in 2013.

   A Graveside Service will be held at the New Blairmore Union Cemetery on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm.  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
