Welcome to the memorial page for

Marguerite Anne (Tully) Allen

October 8, 1937 ~ July 12, 2016 (age 78) 78 Years Old

It is with incredible sadness that we announce the passing of Marguerite Anne Allen on July 12, 2016 at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre in Blairmore, AB.  She was 78 years of age.

Anne was born on October 8, 1937 in Sarnia, ON to proud parents, Harold and Marguerite Tully.  She grew up in Sarnia and lived in several places throughout her life, including Blairmore, AB from 1969 to 1972, and Sparwood, BC from 1972 to 1983.  She returned to the Crowsnest Pass area in 2009 when she moved in with her daughter, Becky Rinaldi.  From that time until Anne’s death, Becky devoted herself completely to taking care of her mother’s every need.

Anne had many hobbies and interests including going to the beach, playing bingo and challenging her mind with puzzles and crosswords.  In her younger days, she loved to socialize and have a good time out with friends, and, later in life, she preferred to spend as much time as possible surrounded by her cherished family.  Some of her happiest memories were created during family gatherings when everyone was together and she was able to take care of them.  No one ever left hungry after indulging in Anne’s delicious cooking and baking!  She was also blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy.  All who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her will remember Anne’s love and kindness forever.

Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her children, Becky (Jerry) Rinaldi of Burmis, AB, Michael (Darcy Lowery) Allen of Vancouver, BC, Raymond (Wendy) Allen of Sparwood, BC, Duane (Treena) Allen of Sparwood, BC, Stacie (Doug) Cusack of Merrit, BC, John Paul Allen of Tweed, ON, Susan (Steve) Ceballo of Brampton, ON, Leslie Hewson of Windsor, ON, Treena (Will) McPhee of Sarnia, ON and Shannon Bermingham of Sarnia, ON; her many grandchildren; her great grandchildren; brothers, Pat (Marilyn) Tully of Petrolia, ON and Keith (Jeanine) Tully of Sarnia, ON; her sisters-in-law, Meryl Lowe, Fran Tully, Marilyn Tully and Karen Tully; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family; as well as many friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Marguerite Tully; and her brothers, Jack, Terry, Dennis, Paul (Ann) and David.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Sarnia, ON at a later date.  Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the Alzheimer Society of Canada (www.alzheimer.ca).  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
