Cheryle Lynn (Jahn) Trotter

   It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryle Lynn Trotter of Coleman, Alberta who was called to be with the Lord on January 5, 2017 while receiving compassionate care at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre in Blairmore.  She was blessed with 60 years of age.

   Born on September 20, 1956 in Coleman, AB to proud parents, Delbert and Reta Jahn, Cheryle was raised to cherish family, friends and the simply pleasures life has to offer.  She blossomed into a lovely young lady and won the heart of Randy Trotter and on July 2, 1977, they were wed in holy matrimony and spent many loving years devoted to each other.

   Cheryle enjoyed working and did her best at everything she attempted.  She spent long hours serving customers at the local 7-ll convenience store but always found time to spend on her hobbies of crocheting, knitting, motorcycling, and having precious moments over coffee with family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humour and was a little bit of a prankster.  She was generous of heart, compassionate, charitable, courageous and adventurous while being a loyal friend and inspiration to us all.  She never wanted to impose herself on anyone and she drew her strength and comfort from God.  Her faith was strong and her love of the Lord comforting to us at this difficult time.  May she find peace in the paradise promised and comfort in the eternal love that awaits us all.

   She is survived by her beloved husband, Randy Trotter of Coleman; her brothers, Larry (Frances) Jahn and Tracy (Lisa) Jahn; her sisters, Faye (Rick) Gibos, Norma (Roy) Bare, Dana (Eugene) Chodyka and Bev (Frank) Toppin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

   She was predeceased by her parents, Delbert and Reta Jahn; and her brothers, Marvin and Trevor Jahn.

   The Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Fantin's Funeral Chapel in Blairmore with Pastor Al Robinson officiating.     In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed towards the Boys & Girls Club (Box 68 Bellevue, AB T0K 0C0).  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
