Born August 31st, 1947, in Toronto, Ontario, Harold “Hap” Huckson grew up in Hamilton, Ontario, traveled to Alberta and fell in love with the scenery.  He passed away at the Crowsnest Pass Continuing Care Centre, Blairmore on October 8th, 2026, at the age of 79 years.
Known to his friends and family as "Hap" he would always be that smiling face.  Ready with a guitar and a song, his voice would carry through the room, and his smile would keep it warm.  People missed seeing him at Pincher Creek Walmart after 10 years as their personal greeter.  Always happy to help, Hap won many awards for his customer service throughout the years.
Hap leaves many friends to mourn his passing and celebrate his life: treasured friend Linda, as well as Evelyn, Pastor Dan, Rudy, Ken and many more that are never forgotten.  He also leaves his daughters Chandra and Jenna and a stepson Jeremy.  Grandchildren Chloe and Lincoln will also remember him.  Hap was the baby brother to sisters Dorothy, Ruby, Joan, and brother Alex, and a cherished faraway uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Dorothy (Née: Lincoln) Huckson of the Hamilton, Ontario area.
Hap would not want to be remembered in sadness.  Please think of a time or moment where he has made your heart smile and keep him alive in your memories.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
