In loving memory of
BRENT MICHALSKI
(1950-2012)
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Wallace Brent Michalski of the Crowsnest Pass, Alberta who was called to be with the Lord on September 14, 2012 at the Crowsnest Pass Continuing Care Centre at the age of 61 years.
Brent was born on October 14, 1950 in Blairmore, Alberta to proud parents Leonard and Carol Michalski. From a young age, he was inclined to be more reserved and introspective in his nature. He enjoyed music, especially rock and roll, traveling, celebrating life with his friends and family and truly enjoyed his years of dedicated work at the local sawmill and as a heavy equipment operator with the coalmines. But it must be said that his heart received its greatest joy when he was blessed with his daughters whom he cherished above all else.
Brent succumbed to his chronic illnesses and we take comfort in knowing his trials on this world are finally over and that his new home is paradise where we shall all meet again.
He is survived by his daughters, Jenny (Mike) Evans and their son Kyein of Calgary and Terri Lynn Thomas and her children Kaden and Cameron of High River; step-daughters Alyssa Proc and Terra-Lynn Nault, his brothers, Danny Michalski of Coleman and Brian (Roxanne) Michalski of Blairmore; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, especially Jim and Kim Brown, Vito DePinto, Hank and MaryLou Riviere and Jim Proc.
He is predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Carol Michalski; Sister Shirley Michalski, and his nephew, Eric Michalski.
By request of the family, no funeral services will be held.
Fantin's Funeral Chapel entrusted with arrangements. (403) 562-8555.
