It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vivian Gladys Reynolds, formerly of Pincher Creek, AB after her valiant battle with cancer. Vivian was called to be with the Lord on December 8, 2013 at the St. Michael’s Long Term Care Centre in Lethbridge at the age of 75 years.
Vivian Gladys Day was born on June 18, 1938 to James & Florence Day in Swan River, Manitoba. She blossomed into a lovely young lady and at the age of 16, Vivian married her first husband, Frank Magson, in The Pas, Manitoba in July of 1954 where they were further blessed with five children. Vivian and Frank lived in many areas from British Columbia to the
Prairie Provinces. Vivian remarried finding true love with Albert Reynolds and they celebrated 27 years together until his passing in 2008.
Vivian had a great love for God, family and friends. She loved music and took part in various choirs and singing groups. She enjoyed dancing, crossword puzzles, playing cards and bingo. She was cherished by her husband Albert, adored by her children, touched by the Holy Spirit and shall be greatly missed by all.
Left to mourn her passing and to celebrate her life include her children, Dennis Magson and Kelly Magson of Lethbridge; Wendy (Allan) Brown of Canel Flats, BC and Maureen (Edwin) Neumann of Thorsby, AB; her 12 loving grandchildren and two great grandchildren; her sisters Edna (Hector) Smith and Mary Day; as well as the members of her extended family.
She was predeceased by her parents, James & Florence Day; her loving husband Albert Reynolds; her sister Alice Hickman; her brother Albert Day and her son, Frankie Magson.
The Funeral Service honouring Vivian’s life was held on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 11 am at the Chinook Bible Chapel (1255 Bev McLachlin Drive, Pincher Creek) with Pastor David Goff officiating. Heartfelt tributes were provided by family and friends. Interment followed at the Passburg Union Cemetery and a tree shall be planted in her memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Box 359, Bellevue, AB T0K 0C0).
