It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Ancelet of Crowsnest Pass, AB who passed away on October 3, 2013 at the age of 65 years.
Sharon was born on June 8, 1948 in Mankota, Saskatchewan to proud parents, Victor and Sarah Carpenado. Along with her siblings, she was raised to appreciate the rewards of hard work, responsibility and the blessings that life offers.
Sharon grew into a lovely and graceful young lady who won the affection of a fine young gentleman, Albert Ancelet. The couple married and were blessed with the care of a wonderful and special little girl. Though times were often challenging, Sharon demonstrated incredible fortitude and courage – she was an inspiration to all those who knew her.
Sharon enjoyed tending her hobby farm, camping, socializing and volunteered her time in numerous ways and places including Mountain View Industries, but her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife and an amazing mother whose love was evident in all she did. Her generosity, kindness and positive attitude will never be forgotten and she will remain in our hearts and in our minds forever. We wish to acknowledge the compassionate staff at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre for their caring and courteous assistance.
Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life include her precious daughter, Nichole Ancelet of Crowsnest Pass; her brothers, Dwayne (Patricia) Carpenado of Calgary and Dwight Carpenado of Crowsnest Pass; her nieces, Kathy (Mike) Varga, Carmen (Dayne) Hildebrandt, Tanya (Jason) Barkley and Sarah (Cory) Carpenado; her nephews, Jason Carpenado and Dwayne Buckle; her great nieces, Ashley, Morgan, Elizabeth and Sadie; her great nephews, Michael Jr., Tyler, Tanner, Taylor, Hunter, Hayden and Kaiden and her extended family and friends, especially Bonita Bourlan and Penny Nickle.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Ancelet; her father, Victor Carpenado; her mother, Sarah Carpenado (nee: McCune); her sister, Patricia Buckle and her infant sister, Patsy Carpenado.
