SEAN BRADLEY
(1967 – 2014)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Sean Bernard Bradley of Bellevue, AB. He was 46 years of age.
Sean was born on November 18, 1967 in Ponoka, AB to proud parents Bern and Pat Bradley.
Sean was a very sociable and hard working young man. He was afflicted with Cerebral Palsy at a young age but never considered it to be a handicap. Sean was a dedicated and capable worker who put his all into every job he took on. He was meticulous, organized and had an amazing memory for numbers - if you needed a phone number or to remember a special date, you just had to ask Sean! He enjoyed any activity that involved spending time with his friends such as riding his motorcycle, camping, quading, snowmobiling and bonfires out on on the trail. He also spent many happy hours in his garage working on vehicles and fixing anything that was broken.
When Sean met Cheryl Kurash, his world was complete. It didn’t take long for him to realize that he had found his best friend and the couple became engaged. In each other, they found friendship and true love.
Not only was Sean a devoted son and a loving fiancé, he was a loyal friend who was always there to lend a helping hand. His big smile and infectious laugh will never be forgotten and he will live forever in our hearts.
He is survived by his beloved fiancé, Cheryl Kurash of Bellevue, AB; his parents, Pat and Bern Bradley of Hillcrest, AB; his brother, Bill Bradley of Lethbridge, AB; his sister, Riva (Trevor) Tarcon of Coleman, AB; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family; and the many friends he made throughout his life.
A gathering of family and friends celebrating Sean’s life will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2014 from 2pm – 5pm at the Hillcrest Miners’ Club. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sean will be gratefully accepted by the Cerebral Palsy Association of Alberta (12001 – 44th St. SE, Calgary, AB T2Z 4G9).
