Robert “Bob” Morrow
(1932-2013)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Chisholm Morrow of Hillcrest, Alberta, who was called to be with the Lord on June 13, 2013, at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre in Blairmore, Alberta at the age of 80 years.
Robert Chisholm Morrow, better known to us all as Bob, was born on July 10, 1932 in Vancouver, BC to proud parents Richard and Dorothy Morrow. He was raised with an appreciation for family, the rewards from hard day’s work and a consideration for others.
Bob loved working with wood and creating something special with his talented hands. He had a passion for antique vehicles and was skilled at repairing them. He had a quiet and reserved personality, a kind and generous nature and a great love for animals. Bob recognized life’s simpler pleasures and was content with the blessings in his life but his heart belonged to a very special lady, Donalda Roth; she brought him immense joy and made his life complete.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Donalda; his son, Jason (Cori), his daughters, Michele & Monique, his loving grandchildren, Brandon, Emma, William, Neco, Wes, Casey & Robert; his many cherished great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Dorothy Morrow; his siblings, Roy Morrow, Pat Morrow and Helen Morgan.
The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 2 pm with Pastor Al Robinson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of the late Robert Chisholm Morrow may be made to the SPCA Humane Society, Box 725, Blairmore, AB, T0K 0E0 or to the Canadian Cancer Society, Box 359, Bellevue, AB, T0K 0C0.
