In loving memory
ROBERT BOBROSKY
(1941-2013)
Mr. Robert Michael Bobrosky of Blairmore, Alberta passed away on May 2, 2013 at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre at the age of 71 years.
Bob was born on October 1, 1941 in Blairmore, Alberta to Joseph and Ethel Bobrosky. He always had a close and loving relationship with his parents and did his utmost to be a caring and devoted son. He was raised to have faith in the Lord and follow the Golden Rule. A hard working man, he gained employment as a labourer in the coal mining industry and several other companies throughout his life. He enjoyed playing the accordion, hiking, hunting, fishing and camping in his younger days along with crafts and ceramic art. As he grew older, he enjoyed his cars, games of chance and formed a passion for mushroom and berry picking of which he generously gave to his friends.
Bob was blessed with many talents and a kind heart but he also suffered several trials and tragedies. Bob was involved in an auto accident that took the life of his fiancé and a close friend. The loss of his only true love and the head injury he sustained altered his life irrevocably; his mental capacity as well as his heart would never be whole again.
Although he is no longer in our lives, he will remain forever in our hearts. May he rejoice with his beloved parents, and precious fiancé at the banquet in heaven.
He is survived by his sister, Florence Frisbee of Houston, Texas; his nieces, Charis (Charles) Cox and Shauna Frisbee; his cousins, Lud Margetak, Agnes (Milan) Balog and Berwyn (Rhonda) Pisony; his goddaughter, Kim (Rick) Grieve of Frank; his extended family and cherished friends.
The Memorial Service in memory of Bob was held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:00 am at Fantin's Funeral Chapel in Blairmore with Fr. Ben Marino officiating. Cremation occurred at Fantin's Funeral Chapel’s private crematorium. Condolences may be registered as www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
