It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Charles Field of Coleman, Alberta who fought a courageous battle with cancer but on September 10, 2013 passed away at the age of 48 years at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre.
Rick was born on April 20, 1965 to proud parents Terry & Yvonne Field. At an early age, he gained a strong work ethic and learned to take pride in a job well done - lessons he lived by throughout his entire life. In 2006, Rick met his true love, Lisa Koe, and on Christmas Day 2012 they were engaged to be married.
Rick enjoyed working as a contractor and he worked in construction for over 26 years. His passions and interests included playing guitar, tinkering on automobiles and spending precious moments with his beloved fiancé but what truly filled his heart with joy was his children and being a great dad.
Rick will be greatly missed by all the family and friends he made throughout his lifetime. Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life include his wife, Lisa Koe; his children, Dylan Field, Keelie Koe, Terrynce Koe, Jeremiah Koe, and Abbey–Gail Koe; his grandchild Dylan Jr.; his parents; Terry & Yvonne; his brothers Rod Field and Shane Earl; his step mother, Gina Field; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
The Memorial Service for late Richard Field was held on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 10:00 am at Fantin's Funeral Chapel (13461-20 Avenue Blairmore, AB).
