It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Beaulieu of Blairmore, Alberta, who was called to be with the Lord on April 15, 2013, at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre in Blairmore, Alberta at the age of 83 years.
Mandoza Dominec Beaulieu, better known to us all as Paul, was born on January 11, 1930 in Quebec to proud parents Thofeill and Almoza Beaulieu. He was raised with an appreciation for family, the reward of hard work and consideration for others.
Paul loved the great outdoors, especially hunting and taking his dogs for a walk. He was also fond of driving trips throughout the country -it didn’t matter the destination. The freedom of the road and control of the wheel made him smile. He had a quiet and reserved personality. He enjoyed many simple pleasures but his heart belonged to a very special lady, his beloved wife, Leila. They celebrated 63 years of devotion to one another. Together, they raised a family that brought him immense joy and made his life complete.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Leila; his son Robert (Susan) Beaulieu, his daughters Pauline Tafovic, Lizette (Brad) Livingstone, Anita (Dave) Inoie , Shirley (Jeff) Jopling, Diane (Harvey) Bergquist, Jennine Beaulieu and Rosalie Beaulieu; his 12 Grandchildren, his great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, siblings and extended family.
Paul was predeceased by his parents, Thofeill & Almoza Beaulieu; his sons, Emery Beaulieu and Claude Beaulieu and his son-in-law, Mike Tafovic.
By request of the family, there will be no funeral services held. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of the late Mandoza Dominec Beaulieu may be made to the SPCA Humane Society, Box 725, Blairmore, AB, T0K 0E0. Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
