It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Melody Panisiak of Frank, AB on March 24, 2016 at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, AB. She was 52 years of age.
Melody was born in Golden, BC on July 5, 1963 to proud parents Paul and Jean Panisiak. Along with her siblings, she was raised in a loving home and taught to appreciate family, friends and life’s simple pleasures.
Although she became more private in recent years, Melody was a very social person who greatly enjoyed her involvement with the Blairmore Legion - both as a member and as a bartender. She also loved camping and animals of all shapes and sizes. Melody had her share of health issues, but she did her best to maintain a positive outlook while dealing with them. Her generous, kind and loving spirit will never be forgotten.
Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her parents, Paul and Jean Panisiak; her brother, Lance (Angela) Panisiak; her sister, Darcy (Jim) Webb; her nieces and nephews, Tanya, Justin, Travis (Stephanie), Veronica, Michael and Michelle; as well as the countless friends she made throughout her life.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca or 200 – 325, Manning Rd.
