With great sadness we announce the passing of Lawrence “Larry” Iutzi on June 9, 2026. He was 73 years of age.
Larry was born on February 23, 1953, in Woodstock, ON. He dedicated 35 years of service to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, where he served with integrity, professionalism, and strength. Following his retirement from the RCMP, he continued serving his community through his work with the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass. On June 22, 2013, Larry married Barb Robinson. Together they shared a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
Larry found joy in the simple things. He loved watching movies and had a true passion for working on and improving his home. He was a quiet, gentle, and kind man whose actions spoke louder than words. Always willing to lend a hand, Larry was the kind of person friends could count on - he would "give the shirt off his back" to help someone in need. He also had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed joking around, bringing smiles and laughter to those fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of kindness, generosity, humility, and service will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life is his wife, Barb, and his siblings, Ted, Linda and Terry. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Ida Iutzi.
