It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ken Dalman at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre on December 5, 2015 at the age of 76 years.

Brian Kenneth Dalman was born in Fort Macleod, Alberta on May 19, 1939 to proud parents Alice and Francis Dalman. He was raised to appreciate life’s blessings and to never take the love of your family for granted. He grew into a hardworking, handsome man, and on November 8, 1975, he married the love of his life, Donna Loseth. Together, they raised a beautiful family and created countless happy memories.

In his free time, Ken enjoyed golfing, camping and fishing at the lake and watching movies. He also took great pleasure and pride in woodworking. His attention to detail and skill with his hands was evident in the many projects he designed and constructed over the years. Ken also loved to laugh; Bugs Bunny and the roadrunner never failed to make him chuckle! Above all else, Ken treasured time spent with his family and cherished his grandchildren and beloved dogs. He never had a bad word to say about anyone and treated everyone with respect. Ken’s practical, easygoing demeanor and wonderful sense of humour will be greatly missed and forever remembered by everyone fortunate enough to have known him.

Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life are his devoted wife, Donna Dalman of Blairmore, AB; his dear children, Rodney Dalman of Blairmore, AB, Trina (Stan Hodges) Lebarre of Lethbridge, AB and Linda Dalman of Blairmore, AB; his precious grandchildren, Daniell, Brittny and Maliki; his sisters, Pat Bedry of St. Albert, AB and Judy LeGrandeur of Pincher Creek, AB; his special friend and “extra daughter”, Gwen Taggart; his canine companions, Chloe and Snoopy; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; as well as the many friends he made throughout his life.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alice and Francis; his stepfather, William Crook; his brother-in-law, James Bedry; and his dog, Angel.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Ken will be gratefully accepted by S.T.A.R.S. (1441 – Aviation Park NE, P. O. Box 570, Calgary, AB T2E 8M7). Codolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
