When Karen married Dale Morrison, she became stepmother to Connie, Norman and Russel. Together, she and Dale worked the farm until it was sold, making many memories along the way.
Karen was a gifted writer and submitted many articles to local newspapers. After Dale’s passing, Karen moved to Lethbridge, AB where she resided until she became in need of further assistance. She was then relocated to the Crowsnest Pass Continuing Care Center in Blairmore, AB where she spent her final days. She passed away quietly on January 7, 2026.
Karen was predeceased by her husband, Dale; stepson, Russel; stepdaughter-in-law, Denise; granddaughter, Stacey; and Stacey’s partner, Dallas.
She leaves to cherish her memory her stepchildren, Connie (Gene) and Norm (Myrna); grandchildren, Jodi (Chris), Devin (Mallory), Rick and Ken; as well as her greatgrandchildren.
