In loving memory
JOHN OSADAN
(1940-2013)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John Osadan of Blairmore, Alberta who passed away on July 16, 2013 while camping at his favourite spot in the Beaver Mines area at the age of 73 years.
John was born on April 22, 1940 in Blairmore, AB to Martin and Annie Osadan. He worked throughout his life as a driller in the coal mining and petroleum industries. He was a hardworking man who was blessed with kindness and compassion. John won the heart of a lovely young lady, Margaret Squarek, and courted for eight years. They married on June 21, 1969 and shared a further 44 years as soul mates and best friends. They raised their two daughters with love and provided for each other with devotion. John loved the great outdoors. His passions in life were exploring the various majestic mountains of the Crowsnest Pass, spending many hours fishing and hunting, camping with his family while telling many a tale around the campfire as well as tending his garden and tree-filled yard. He was an amazing provider and fed his friends and family with fresh game and fish. He was a long time member of the Hillcrest Fish and Game Association and the Royal Canadian Legion and was a loyal friend to many people in our community.
