It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. John Charles Hosick of Bellevue, Alberta who on May 1, 2015 succumbed to his battle with cancer at the age of 76 years while receiving care at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre.
John was born on September 14, 1938 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan to John & Anne Hosick.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rikki Hosick of Bellevue, AB; his children, Delphine Hosick of Red Deer and Carrie (Jim) Woodley of Strathmore; his grandchildren, Jessica (Tony) Striemer, Fred (Sam) Woodley, Kyle (Andrea) Ploeger and James McQueen; his great grandchildren, Tyler Striemer, Ava, Emma and Wesley Woodley; his twelve siblings; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and cherished friends, especially his canine companion, Smokey.
He was predeceased by his parents; one sister; and three brothers.
