Irene Filafilo (née Taborski) passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at the Crowsnest Pass Continuing Care Centre.
Irene was born in Bellevue, AB and lived her entire life in the Crowsnest Pass. She loved the Pass and was very active in numerous organizations and community related activities. Above all, she loved people and cherished every conversation she shared with others.
Irene was predeceased by Donald, her husband of 58 yrs, and her son-in-law Roger. She will truly be missed by Rick (Barb) & Cindy, grandchildren Lexie, Heather, Analie & Jay (and their spouses) along with great grandchildren, Charlotte, Bennett & Josie.
Irene also leaves behind many wonderful friends who brought great joy to her life.
At Irene’s request, a funeral service will not be held.
