It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward Cervo of Burmis, AB on March 3, 2022 at the Pincher Creek Health Centre. He was 92 years of age.
Ed was born on April 24, 1929 in Passburg, AB to parents, Adrian and Martha Cervo. From an early age, he learned the importance of working hard and to appreciate all of life’s blessings. As a lifelong farmer/rancher, Ed put these lessons to good use. He also understood the value of a dollar, choosing to “build it - not buy it” whenever he could.
Ed’s pride and joy was his family. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who never missed an opportunity to spend time with those he loved. Ed’s hardworking hands are now at rest, but he will live on in precious memories.
Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life is his wife of sixty-nine years, Audrey Cervo; his children, Norman Cervo, Diane (Bob) Bergen and Loreilee Cervo; his brother, Ralph (Rae) Cervo; his daughter-in-law, Audrey Joyce Cervo; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Bobbi-Jo (Markus), Bonnie, Clinton (Amanda) and Stacey (Ethan); his great-grandchildren, Maya, Kace, Alexzander, Emma, Danika and Carter; as well as his extended family and many friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Adrian and Martha Cervo, and his son, Gene Cervo.
