In loving memory
DENNIS ZEITH
(1944-2013)
Mr. Dennis Zeith, much loved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on August 07, 2013 at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre in Blairmore at the age of 69 years.
Dennis was born on July 22, 1944 in Natal, BC to proud parents, Peter Sr. and Elizabeth Zeith. He was raised with his six siblings to have respect for family and to care for those in need. He was known to try the patience of his sisters who often had to attend to their brother. His charismatic nature made him many friends and caught the attention of a lovely young lady, Billie Beard, whom he married in 1966. They were soon blessed with two daughters who adored him and to whom Dennis cherished. He left memories of what a father should be, must be, and can be.
Dennis was employed for many years at the WestStar mining company and worked tireless hours to provide for his family. He was a quiet and modest man with a keen sense of humour. He enjoyed a good cup of coffee from “Timmy’s” and enjoyed watching the English Premier League of European football (aka soccer). We are proud to reveal that he was generous and was always there to lend a hand or give to a stranger in need. He was a beloved family member who was both an inspiration and a gentle individual whom we will dearly miss. Please honour his memory by raising a cup of coffee to this modest man who humbly said, “I came, I saw, I loved, I left”.
He is survived by his caring family: his wife, Billie Zeith of Blairmore; his precious daughters; Laura (Doug) Cox and Maureen (Daniel) Hrycyk; his loving grandchildren; Sarah, Brian, Kameron and Tyler; his sisters, Pearl Myslicki of Coleman, Irene Hill of Coleman, Bernice Klassen of Edmonton, Iris (Mark) Preece of Calgary, Corrine (Richard) Grocutt of Cranbrook; his sister-in-law Pearl Zeith; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Peter Zeith Sr. and his mother, Elizabeth Zeith; his brother Peter Zeith and several in-laws.
At the request of the family, no funeral service will be held.
