It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Ancelet on November 27, 2017 at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre, Blairmore, AB. He was 57 years of age.
David was born on August 4, 1960 in Calgary, Alberta. Along with his brothers and sisters, he was raised in the warm, nurturing home that their parents, Cyril and Mary Ancelet created for them. In 2012, David relocated and made the Crowsnest Pass his home.
David was a fun-loving person who liked to tease and joke around. He was also very social and enjoyed visiting with his friends and family, as well as working at Mountain View Industries and Bagatelle where his good nature could shine. Spending time working in his yard, going fishing and camping at Dutch Creek were also activities that David loved to do. His friendly, cheerful spirit will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life are his brothers, Roy (Linda) Ancelet and Cyril (Sandy) Ancelet; his sisters, Judy (Don) Smaniotto and Arlene (Rick) Qualteri all of Calgary, AB; several nieces and nephews; as well as countless friends and his extended family at Mountain View Industries.
He was predeceased by his parents, Cyril and Mary Ancelet.
