It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Danny Richard Ouellet, formerly of Blairmore, Alberta, who passed away at his residence in Lethbridge, AB on May 1, 2014 at the age of 40 years.
Danny was born on November 19, 1973 in Blairmore, Alberta to proud parents, Denis and Marjorie Ouellet. He was always a kind and gentle person, highly intelligent and talented. His hard work ethic and humble nature won him respect and admiration wherever he worked. Danny enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to music (especially heavy metal), exercising, spending time on his computer and many hours reading non-fiction books but his greatest joy came from those precious moments with his family whom he truly cherished. He was a Knight of Columbus, a loyal friend and an all around good person. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
He is survived by his parents, Denis & Marjorie Ouellet of Blairmore, AB; his brother, Norm (Cheryl) Ouellet of Coleman, AB and Steve Ouellet of Lethbridge, AB; his aunt, Audrey Ouellet; his cousins, Audrey (Scott) Ouellet, Tammy (Ben) Ouellet and Nelson (Christine) Ouellet; his nephews, Austin and Ethan; second cousin, Garett; as well as several members of his extended family and his devoted friends. He was predeceased by his uncle Maurice Ouellet in August of 2008; his grandparents, Ruby Harmon in 2003, Camille Ouellet in 1993 and Florence Ouellet in 1988.
