In loving memory
ALMA SENYCZ
(1924-2013)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Alma Senycz, formerly of Bellevue, Alberta. Alma was called to be with the Lord on July 17, 2013 while receiving care and kindness at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre. She was blessed with 89 years of age.
Alma was born on July 8, 1924 in Michel, British Columbia to Joseph & Verona Repka. She was raised with a great appreciation for family, faith and pride in a task well done. She was a lovely young lady who was meticulous, gentle and caring.
Alma was granted many talents of which she found pleasure including her skills in embroidery, baking, cake decorating, knitting, sewing infant and children’s clothing and baking for her wonderful family whom she cherished. She was devoted to her family, adored her children and grandchildren and was a loyal friend to so many. May she find salvation in the peace of Christ and may her memory continue to bless us with friendship and love.
Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life include her loving children, Kenneth (Heather) Garbiar of Fort Saskatchewan, AB and John (Carol) Garbiar of Coleman, AB; her step children, Simon Senycz of Sparwood, BC and Carleen Senycz of Victoria, BC; her brother John Repka of White Horse, YT; her grandchildren, Paul, Laura, Daniel, Joey, Trevor, Joanne, Simon, Nicole, Chad and Neil; her fifteen great grandchildren and her extended family; as well as the many friends that she made throughout her lifetime.
