In loving memory
ALBERTA BRAZZONI
(1928-2014)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alberta Natalina Brazzoni, of Bellevue, AB on July 14, 2014 at the Crowsnest Pass Continuing Care Centre. She was 85 years of age.
Alberta was born on December 25, 1928 to proud parents Pete and Maria Grosso. Along with her siblings, she was raised with a deep appreciation for family, friends and the simple blessings in life. Alberta grew into a lovely young lady who stole the heart of a handsome gentleman, Americo “Cody” Brazzoni. The happy couple was joined in holy matrimony on April 10, 1950 and later welcomed two wonderful children.
Alberta loved working with her hands and was always busy crocheting, sewing or crafting. She enjoyed attending craft fairs, especially with her granddaughter-in-law, Rose, and many of her hand-sewn Halloween costumes are still being used today. All who knew her were aware that Alberta had an amazing ‘green thumb’. She and her husband spent countless gratifying hours working in their beautiful garden creating a magical world all their own. Alberta loved her family above all else. She was always there for them whether it was with her famous rigatoni or bishop’s bread or with helpful advice. Alberta was a caring and nurturing person who will remain in our hearts forever.
Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life include her beloved husband, Americo “Cody” Brazzoni of Bellevue, AB; her cherished grandson, Cody (Rose) Fincaryk of Burmis, AB; her precious great grandchildren, Dante, Mya and Tazio Fincaryk; her niece, Vera (John) Tarcon of Bellevue, AB and her nephew, Ben (Audrey) Arcuri of Nelson, BC.
She was predeceased by her parents, Pete and Maria Grosso; her son, Colin Brazzoni; her daughter, Christine Fincaryk; her grandson, Kyle Fincaryk and her siblings.
The family would like to express their sincerest appreciation for the care and compassion shown by Dr. Garbutt and the staff at the Continuing Care Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of the late Alberta Brazzoni will be gratefully accepted by the Crowsnest Pass Health Foundation - Long Term Care Program, (P.O.
