A kind man with a wide, bright smile - that's how I remember your dad. Memories of the guy driving the boat & many fun family times at Ridge! It was a great surprise to see your dad at Mom's Celebration of Life last year - just wish I'd had more time to chat with him...
My thoughts are with you all,
Pat Derksen (Droste)

God Speed our good friend.
What wonderful memories you have left us to cherish. From the first day we met you and Rosemarie your smiles were destined to stay with us in our hearts forever. We have the fondest memories of your antics in the parades when you dressed up as Cave people, in your caveman costumes and decorating your Side By side to look like a cavemobile. To your Hillbillie mobile which makes us think those wine jugs just may have been full. :)
You sang your heart out in our Men's Choir, taught us to make home made wine and laughted like heck when we realized the wine wasnt "evaporating" but our teenage sons were sampling. I will never forget you coming to the door with more apples the time my wine turned to vinegar!
You were there for the community, the church and anyone who was blessed enough to meet you. That night I (Cooki) held your hand as you were preparing to meet your Lord and go home was so special to me. Thank you for sharing those few hrs with me. You gave me a wonderful gift. God Speed!

I had the pleasure of knowing Vince also as a founding member of the Quad Squad he was a great guy. He worked hard for the club & the many other clubs he was involved in. He was always a pleasure to work with. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to all who had the pleasure to know him. Rest in peace.

I worked with Vince on the lethbridge force after having come from the Calgary Force.
I enjoyed Vince on and off the job. I remember going to his house for the first time and not sure if I was working or not but I did sample the wine. I thought I was okay until I stood up.
Felt like my head hit the ceiling. His wine was smooth, his personality welcoming and just and good guy. The world needs more like Vince Erdos. Rest in piece. Your job is done.
Your friend and colleague Brian

Rest In Peace Vince. You gave it all for Family and Community !! I had the pleasure of working with Vince with the Lethbridge Police. Vince always took the time to stop and say 'Hello' and never really had a Bad Day !! We will fondly remember a camp-out at Vince's HillSpring 'Shangri-La' staying up all night by the fire with too much of Vince's homemade wine. A wonderful man who left lasting memories with all of us whom had the pleasure of spending time with him. Regards to the Erdos Family......Ian Sanderson

I had the privilege and the pleasure of working with Vince when we were both members of the Lethbridge Police Force many years ago. Vince was one of the "good guys" who always "told it like it was". Vince was fair, honest, compassionate, extremely responsible, caring, funny, thoughtful, and someone who we rookies could look up to and emulate. Vince will most assuredly be missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. Whenever I think of Vince a smile inevitably comes to my face. This world is truly diminished by Vince's absence and I am a better person having known him. Thank you Vince.

I served with Vince in policing when it was a "Force," and I will always remember him to be a gentleman and kind sole. He was a no nonsense member who was fair, compassionate but took care of business when it was necessary. I worked his last midnight shift with him after which he hosted "choir practice." It wasn't long before I was seeing the value in his homemade hooch. Vince just laughed at those of us that were less seasoned. I knew Vince as kind and hard working, a man who enjoyed helping others, and I will always remember him fondly. I was fortunate to know him.
