I am very shocked and saddened to hear of my father's passing. Unfortunately I lost contact with my father and have been trying to locate him for some time. May he rest in peace. I will miss him dearly and truly wish we could have made contact before this.

Stan was a friend for 40+ years. He was a typical Scotsman: fun-loving, loved a good beer with friends, loved to golf, and was, shall we say, on the thrifty side! He chose who he wanted to be friends with, did not suffer fools gladly, spoke his mind and was a very strong animal lover. We loved him for all of his qualities, and will deeply miss him.
Say hi to Tony for us, Stan.

Hello Larry,

I was wondering if you could send me an email if possible. It would be nice to hear from someone who knew my father so well.

Regards
David

David: your father, Tony and myself spent many enjoyable weekly visits to listen to rock and roll bands at the Airliner and to hoist a few drinks. When your father left Calgary, Wendy and I visited him at his many golf haunts in Alberta and B.C. in the summer and to Arizona and California in the winter. As his health began to fail, we accompanied him on his many doctor and hospital visits.
We will miss him very much. He was a great guy.
