As little kids we were captivated by Uncle Lloyd's evident size, (we fun-lovingly nicknamed Uncle Elephant), entertained by his playful wit and valued his gentle loving spirit. Many years were missed but a few years ago reconnected on a few holidays. Was looking for him one time and asked his friends downtown if they knew where he was. They had no idea who I was talking about until one of them asked "Do you mean Ox? It was with the highest respect and love that they spoke of their dear friend. I so loved my visits with Uncle Lloyd as I was amazed by all the topics that intrigued him, and his desire to learn more and more, everything from spirituality, homeopathic health benefits, making wine to being determined to learn to use his computer. He may have been Uncle Elephant to us at one time, Ox to his best buds, but he will always be remembered because he was unique and special. I know everyone will miss Lloyd and to him step-children, thank you for all the care, love and attention you gave him over the years. Peace and Blessings. Cheryl (Merle's daughter)
