I was truly saddened to hear of Fab's passing.. I had a deep and abiding respect for him and know that he always treated me and my father fairly when we worked for him. His gruffness hid a quiet warm man . I had several humorous encounters with him that showed me this oft time hidden side. I regret deeply not spending time with him as a historian to learn his life story and to get to know him better.. Gene, Beric, Claire,Adrian and Randy - you have my sincerest condolences..

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Fab on a number of occasions while working at Assured Developments in Calgary.
He impressed me not only with his business insights but with his respectable and caring manner with all that he met. Fab indeed had that special presence about him.

Our condolances to all of the Fabro family. John and I heard quite a few amusing stories about Fab from John's mom Isa as they knew each other from early school days. He was always a nice person to have a chat with and left you smiling.

I had the privilege of knowing and being a part of Fabs life for many years. I will always cherish the time I knew him. Truely a loving and caring soul who loved his family deeply. A great man, devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who was loved and respected by all who knew him. We will all miss you deeply Fab. Rest in peace.

My sympathies from the Tapay family. My Father Emil Tapay , and Eugene respected each other, and became friends doing business over land lease for the Tapay cattle. Eugene was in charge of Coalman Colliere's property. We leased the land by Hillcrest for many years. I ( Allen Tapay) was introduced to Eugene and continued in my father's footsteps after he passed. I new him as a good and honourable man. May my father and Eugene share a drink and friendship again in a better place.
