ANNE  HORN

(1942-2017)

   Anne Francis Audrey Horn, born March 30, 1942 in Bellevue, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 19, 2017 at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit in Lethbridge while surrounded and comforted by her family.  She was blessed with 74 years. 

   She is survived by her five children, Sally, Melvina, Theresa, Tami and Melvin; five grandchildren, Sydney, Madalynn, Christine, Katherine and Austin; and 1 great grandchild, Jonathan; eleven siblings; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Helen Sikora.  

   Anne appreciated beauty and the rewards of hard work.  As a young lady, she married and raised a family.  Anne held many jobs to provide for her children and took pride in her work.  She had a strong faith and unique character.  She was genuine and open with her feelings.  A lady who appreciated the simple pleasures of life, she will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

   The funeral service honouring Anne’s life was held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Fantin's Funeral Chapel in Blairmore, AB with Rev. Renso Castellarin officiating.  Interment followed at the Passburg Union Cemetery.  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
