There was something so very special about Alexis - so beautiful, so joyful. Although I only knew her as a little girl, she left an indelible mark on my heart that can never be erased, as I'm sure she did in the lives of so many others. I remember how she and Sarah would giggle for hours on end, hold hands while running and playing and you could just feel the happiness.
