Shannon Colleen (Culbert) Pearson

   With great sadness, we announce the passing of Shannon Colleen Pearson, who passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre in Blairmore, Alberta, at the age of 70 years.

   Born on April 16, 1955, in Smithers, British Columbia, Shannon was the beloved daughter of Lloyd and Mae Culbert. In 1982, she made Crowsnest Pass, Alberta her home, where she built a life rooted in love, family, and community.

   Shannon was a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished friend. Her love knew no bounds, and her warmth and generosity touched all who knew her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—camping in nature, tending to her garden, and caring deeply for animals of all kinds. Her kitchen was always filled with delicious food and the comforting presence of her nurturing spirit.

   She will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family, her kind heart, and the gentle strength she carried through life.  Shannon’s memory will be forever held in the hearts of her loved ones.

   Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life is her son, Troy, (Cinnamon) Pearson of Crowsnest Pass, AB; her daughters, Tanya (Jim) Allsop of Crowsnest Pass, AB and Tamara (Daniel) Herrera Ibarra of Fort Macleod, AB; her grandchildren, Ellissa (Matt), Kyle, Chloyee (Liam), Riley, Peyton, Trinity, Dawson and all her fur-grandkids; as well as her extended family and many friends.

   She was predeceased by her parents, Lloyd and Mae Culbert; the father of her children, Daniel Pearson; and her brother, Curtis Culbert.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted by A Better Chance Animal Rescue (PO Box 1034 Pincher Creek, AB T0K 1W0).  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
