It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Wayne Desjardins on November 27, 2025. Ron was born September 21, 1966 in Lethbridge, Alberta to parents Rene and Bessie.
Ron grew up in Cowley, alongside his sister Yvonne (Bill). Ron had a passion for food, he was a Red Seal Chef, and his career took him many places across western Canada. He also loved the outdoors, whether that be fishing, hunting, quadding, or camping with his family. Ron also loved music and was a talented drummer and singer. Most of all he was a family man who loved very deeply.
He leaves behind his parents, Rene and Bessie; his sister Yvonne (Bill); his children Aleesha (David), Kayla, and Logan (Nicole); his grandchildren Walker, Wrenley, and Owen; and his right-hand pup Earp.
With respect for Ron’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
Fantin’s Funeral Chapel entrusted with the arrangements. (403) 562-8555
