Patricia "Patty" Ann (Murray) Clarkson

Patricia Ann Clarkson, lovingly known as Patty, passed away on December 23, 2025, in Blairmore, Alberta, at the age of 77.

She was predeceased by her parents, Vinetta and Bill Murray, and by her former spouse, Stan Clarkson. She is survived by her daughter, Krisstael Rayne (Clarkson), her sons, Daks Clarkson and Tate Clarkson, their spouses and her beloved siblings, cousins, neices and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Patricia grew up in Nanton, Alberta, and spent most of her adult life in The Elk Valley of BC, Medicine Hat AB, and Kelowna BC. She was a devoted and loving mom and later in life reinvented herself and her career as a vocational therapist at the age of 47. She was known for her open heart and mind, her wisdom and independant nature, her kindness, resilience, generosity of spirit, and her ability to create a sense of "home and family" wherever she lived.

A Celebration of Life and specific date some time in June 2026, will be announced within the next couple of weeks and is intended to be held in February in Fernie BC as a camping-style picnic gathering, open to family, friends, and the public.
