Michael "Mike" Linderman Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Linderman, on April 11, 2025.

Mike was born on May 20, 1930, to parents Walter and Katherine, in Foremost, Alberta. In 1943, he moved to the Crowsnest Pass with his family. He worked for Linderman Trucking as a coal truck driver off: Tent Mountain, Grassy Mountain, and Vicory Creek. Hillcrest Mines was his happy place, where he rode and raised quarter horses, hunted, and attended rodeos whenever possible. He was passionate about volunteering at the Hillcrest Miners' Literary & Athletic Association. From the 1950s until recently, he enjoyed spending time there, visiting with friends and playing a game of cribbage. Mike, as tough and gruff as he was at times, had a kind heart. He cared deeply for his family.

He met the love of his life, Elsie Evans, and they married in the year of 1954. Celebrating 70 years of marriage.

Mike was very proud of their three sons: Dale, Randy, and Brent. Especially proud of his daughters-in-law: Shirley and Tracey. However, his grandsons: Brett, Ryan, and Austin meant the world to him, as they followed in his footsteps sharing their love of trucking, hunting, and horses.

Mike lived a good life. He loved the Crowsnest Pass and made it home, for himself and his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elsie. His sons: Dale (Shirley), Randy (Tracey) and Brent. Grandsons: Brett, Ryan, and Austin. His sisters: Doreen, Linda, and Brother Eddy.  And his furry companion, Nash.

He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Katherine Linderman. Sisters: Virginia, Rose, Ella. Brothers: Paul and Matt.

Happy Heavenly trails ol' Cowboy, until we meet again...
