Lorna Lynn (Moore) Gatto

   It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorna Gatto on March 10, 2021 at the Crowsnest Health Care Centre, Blairmore, AB.  She was only 52 years of age.

   Lorna was born in Blairmore, AB on November 28, 1968 to proud parents, Terrance and Jessie.  The importance of family and friends was instilled in her at an early age and she never forgot that lesson.  She also developed an amazing work ethic which would help her many times throughout her life.

   The most important things to Lorna were her family and friends.  She spent every moment she could with them and treasured them all.  She also loved animals, the ocean, camping, listening to loud music and dancing.  Lorna was a free-spirit who believed in living every day to its fullest and loving with her whole heart.  She embodied what unconditional love and patience truly is, and her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. 

   Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her children, Brandon Giroux and Talyn McPhail; her grandchildren, Rowan Sullivan and Tori Giroux; her brother, Jason (Sherry Baron) Moore; her sister, Jennifer Pinkerton; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; as well as her extended family and countless friends.

   She was predeceased by her parents, Jessie Tuma and Terrance Moore and all of her grandparents.

   A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca), or by the Heart and Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca).  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
