Laura Lynn (Pulver) Lamb

   With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Laura Lynn Lamb on March 5, 2024 in Calgary, AB.  She was 71 years of age.

   Laura was born on August 25, 1952 in Harlowton, MT to Joan and Ray “Mike” Pulver.  She grew up with a deep appreciation for family and friends, and a strong desire to learn.  Laura graduated from University of Montana, then went on to have a successful career with Scotiabank in both Calgary, AB and Fernie, BC.

   Laura’s thirst for knowledge continued throughout her entire life.  She had a keen interest in languages, studying Russian and Chinese in university, was a voracious reader, and had a passion for experiencing new cultures while travelling.  Laura also enjoyed cooking and she was very devoted to her beloved dog, Eddy and her cat, Pipster Mao.  Love is a light that never dims, and hers will shine on in the hearts and memories of all who knew her.

   Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her brother, Thomas “Tom” (Janet) Pulver of Deming, WA, their daughters, Lauren (Sims) McGrath and Taylor (Matt) Allen and their grandsons, Sims IV and Oliver; her sister, Carol (Keith) Krueger of Aberdeen, WA; her brother-in-law, William “Bill” (Leslie) Lamb of Cassopolis, MI, their daughters, Kelli (Aaron) Lysek and Lindsay Lamb and their grandsons, Shawn and Bill; her step-sisters, Kim Lloyd and Debby (Gary) Grossman of Missoula, MT; as well as her extended family and many friends.

   She was predeceased by her husband, Mike Lamb; her mother, Joan Carroll Pulver Lloyd; her father, Ray “Mike” Pulver; her step-father, George “Mick” Lloyd; and her mother-in-law, June Lamb.

   A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, August 23, 2024 at the Passburg Cemetery, Crowsnest Pass, AB.  Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the University of Montana Foundation (PO Box 7159 Missoula, MT 59807-7159), or Friends of KSPS-PBS Canada (Box 10, 918 - 16 Ave. NW Calgary, AB T2M 0K3).  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
