Kenneth "Ken" George Orton

   Ken Orton of Coleman, AB passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 11, 2025.  Ken was born in Regina, SK on May 8, 1949, but Alberta has been his home for the last fifty-eight years.

   Ken is survived by his wife of fifty years, Annie; his sons, Ken Jr., Christopher (Gloria) and Robert (Kristine Tonks); his sister, Sharon (Keith) Grill of Regina, SK; brother-in-law, Don (Karen) Carto; sister-in-law, Norma (Gary) Sedor; several nieces and nephews; and his dog and best buddy, Lily.  He was predeceased by his parents, George and Pat Orton of Regina, SK; parents-in-law, John and Dagmar Carto of Coleman, AB; and his brother, Dennis Orton of Blairmore, AB.

   A lifelong long-haul trucker, Ken cherished time with his family and enjoyed camping, fishing, and restoring classic pick-up trucks.  He fought a good fight for four years, but he was too tired to go on.  He will be remembered with love and respect.  

   With respect for Ken’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the animal charity of your choice.  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
