With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jean-Pierre “John” Hudon on April 10, 2024 at the Chinook Regional Hospital, Lethbridge, AB. He was 80 years of age.
John was born in Levis, QC on June 29, 1943. He grew up with a very strong work-ethic and sense of duty. These traits led him to a thirty-two-year career in the Royal Canadian Air Force, and served him well as a committed Husband, Father and Papa.
After retirement from the Air Force, John had several successful businesses. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and watching the Montreal Canadiens. His most cherished moments, however, were spent with his family - especially his grandchildren. John will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life is his wife of fifty-eight years, Judy Hudon (née: LaBelle) of Lethbridge, AB; his son, Richard (Tanja) Hudon of Lethbridge, AB; his daughter, Christine (Charles) Clarke of Blairmore, AB; his grandchildren, Brett, Brennen, Devon and Eric Clarke, and Emma and Genna Hudon; his siblings, Andree, Lise, Richard, Lucie, Henri and Carmen, all of Quebec; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Irenee and Jeanne Hudon of Quebec; and his brother Serge of Quebec.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 1, 2024 in Trenton, ON. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the Alzheimer Society of Canada (www.alzheimer.ca). Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
