John Phillip Day

   It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Phillip Day of Bellevue, AB on November 6, 2020.  He was 54 years of age.

   John was born on July 1, 1966 in Calgary, AB to parents Reginald and Frieda Day.  From them, he learned the importance of family and friends and to appreciate all of life’s blessings.  On February 15, 1992, John married the love of his life, Christine Winder.  They went on to be blessed with two wonderful sons, Jonathan and Michael, and twenty-eight years of marriage.

   John loved the outdoors and he went hunting, fishing and quadding as often as he could.  He never missed an opportunity to spend time with his family and friends, and was always happiest when with them.  John may be gone, but he will live on in precious memories.   

   Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life is his wife, Christine Day of Bellevue, AB; his mother, Frieda Day of Sparwood, BC; his sons, Jonathan (Brooklin) Day of Lethbridge, AB and Michael Day of Bellevue, AB; his uncle, Bill McHugh; as well as his extended family and many friends.

   He was predeceased by his father, Reginald and his brothers, Steven and Gary.

   The Visitation will be held at Fantin’s Funeral Chapel (13461 – 20 Ave., Blairmore, AB) on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 1:00pm.  Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the charity of your choice.  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
