James "Jim" William Hardy

   It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of James “Jim” William Hardy on May 8, 2024 at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre, Blairmore, AB.  He was 76 years of age.

   Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life is his wife, Marjorie “Cooky” Hardy of Hillcrest Mines, AB; his daughter, Lee Ann (Dwain) Caines of Fort McMurray, AB; his grandson, Damon; his great-granddaughter, Cally; his brothers, Michael (Toni) Hardy, Stephen Hardy and Mark Hardy all of Coleman, AB; his sister, Violet Schmidt of Blairmore, AB; his nephews, Michael and Kelly Hardy; his nieces, Cheryl Ouellet and Debbie Schmidt; as well as his extended family and many friends.

   With respect for Jim’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the Crowsnest Pass SPCA (PO Box 725 Blairmore, AB T0K 0E0).  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca).
