Frances Ann Kuryluk, age 87, passed away on November 24, 2025, in Blairmore, Alberta. Born on November 4, 1938, she was the beloved daughter of Giuseppe and Nancy Amatto.
Frances married the love of her life, Milton Kuryluk, and together they raised their boys in a warm, nurturing home. Family was always at the heart of everything she did, and her devotion to those she cared for was evident in every aspect of her life.
Deeply committed to her community, Frances was an active member of the Catholic Church, the Blairmore Legion, and the Royal Purple, where she proudly served for more than forty-five years. During her time with the organization, she was named District Deputy and Supreme Honoured Royal Lady on several occasions.
Creative and always keeping her hands busy, Frances enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Whether crafting gifts for loved ones or contributing handmade items to community causes, her work was an expression of her generosity.
Frances will be remembered as a steadfast friend, a devoted wife and mother, and a woman of quiet strength and enduring compassion. She will be forever remembered with love and respect.
Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her sons, Harry Kuryluk and Grant (Sandi) Kuryluk; her granddaughter, Haylie (Ashton); her great-grandson, Opie; her brother, Michael (Assunta) Amatto; and countless friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Milton Kuryluk in 2010.
