Donna Patricia (Loseth) Dalman

Donna Patricia Dalman passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at the Crowsnest Pass Continuing Care Centre in Blairmore, AB.  She was 76 years of age.

Born in Taber, Alberta, on July 3, 1949, Donna was a beloved daughter of Irvin and Joan Loseth.  On November 8, 1975, she married the love of her life, Ken Dalman, with whom she shared a devoted and enduring partnership.

Donna was known for her warm heart, gentle humour, and quiet kindness.  She found joy in simple pleasures—playing whist, cribbage, and bingo, and participating in crafts at Continuing Care.  She had a deep love for dogs, especially her own, Angel, Chloe and Snoopy, who brought her great comfort and companionship throughout her life.

A devoted wife, mother, and friend, Donna was deeply cherished by all who knew her.  She was also a proud, long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 19, Bellevue Ladies' Auxiliary, where she valued the community and camaraderie she found there.  Donna’s kind and loving spirit touched many and will be forever remembered.

Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her children, Rodney Dalman, Trina LeBarre and partner, and Linda Dalman; her grandchildren, Daniell LeBarre, Brittny Myers and Maliki Hodgson; her brothers, Frank (Ursula) Loseth, Peter (Avril) Loseth and Mike (Marilyn) Loseth; her sister, Coleen Giles; as well as her extended family and many friends, especially Cori MacGregor who always hugged her and made her laugh and Don Baldwin who Donna affectionately called “Grumpy” just to make him smile.

Donna loved the Continuing Care and kitchen staff and considered them friends.  So many of them took the time to welcome her back with a hug and to tell her how much she had been missed.  She looked forward to talking to them every day.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ken Dalman; her parents, Joan and Irvin Loseth; her sisters, Susan Hildebrandt and Jacqueline “Jackie” Thompson; and beloved dogs, Angel, Chloe, Snoopy and Osiris.
