DONALD ALEX SYDORA
April 10,1953 – June 1, 2021
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Donald Sydora. Donald passed away suddenly on June 1, 2021 at his home in Edmonton, Alberta from a broken heart over the recent passing of his beloved wife, Maureen. He was blessed with 68 years of a wondeful life.
Donald was born on April 10, 1953 in Innisfree, Alberta to loving parents, Harry and Stella Sydora. He grew to be a strong and handsome man who won the heart of a lovely and graceful young lady, Maureen Tymchuk. They were married on October 27,1973 and further blessed with a beautiful daughter.
Donald enjoyed: tinkering on vehicles, joining in at family gatherings playing his guitar and singing, tending to his yard work, his work as a truck driver, exploring the countryside, playing with his grandchildren, keeping everything organized, sharing his knowledge while inspiring those around him and being a super dad. He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Left to mourn his passing and to celebrate his life include his famiy: his precious daughter, Candace (Stan Puddester) Sydora; his cherished grandchildren, Kasea and Brayden; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and his many friends and family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Maureen Sydora earlier this year, his parents, Harry and Stella Sydora; and his brothers, Larry Sydora and Edward Sydora.
