It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Audrey Alice Cervo of Burmis, AB on May 25, 2022 at the Chinook Regional Hospital, Lethbridge, AB. She was 86 years of age.
Audrey was born at her Castle River home on December 23, 1935 to parents, Alexander and Annie Wakaluk.
Mom loved the outdoors and in her younger years enjoyed ranch life checking and feeding cows which often led to hiking the many trails on the farm. She also loved horses having had to ride from her Castle River home to the Fir Grove School on her horse named Darky.
Family was Mom’s everything, and her unconditional love for all of us touched our hearts. Mom’s love and dedication to family and farm is what we will always remember. Although Mom struggled with health in her later years, her hard-working soul is now at rest.
Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her children, Norman Cervo, Diane (Bob) Bergen and Loreilee Cervo; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Bobbi-Jo (Markus), Bonnie, Clinton (Amanda) and Stacey (Ethan); her great-grandchildren, Maya, Kace, Alexzander, Emma, Danika and Carter; her daughter-in-law, Audrey Joyce Cervo; her siblings, Faith, Shirley, Barbara, Hope and Alan; her brother-in-law, Ralph (Rae) Cervo; as well as her extended family and many friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Ed Cervo; and her son, Gene Cervo.
A Private Graveside Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the charity of your choice. Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
