Mrs. Kryczka, Terry, Mark and Kathy,

My sympathies go out to you for the loss of your husband and father.
I remember babysitting for you, just running across the road.
Mr. Kryczka was also my Social teacher for all my high school years, my P.E. teacher in grade 10 and my math31 teacher.
He was a very nice, gentle man.  He shall be missed.

Our Deepest Deepest Sympathy go out to you Vi, Terry, Mark. Cathy and all of the families for the loss of a wonderful man and a great mentor to many people of the Crowsnest Pass.  The old neighborhood is pretty much all together again and are having a hey-dey up there but are missing only 2 people and then LOOK out!!!!  They always knew how to have a great time together.  Ted will be missed by many but the memories he left behind will live on forever... R.I.P. Ted until we all meet again  <3

I am very sad to hear about Mr. Kryczka's passing. He was my first and only male home room school teacher. I heard all the older kids saying how strict he was and was at first very scared to be in his class. None of the rumours were true. He was a teddy bear and taught me to love math. I used to look forward to seeing him at the Remembrance Day functions every year to sit down and have a chat. I will miss him but will always remember that in that one short year in junior high he made a difference in my life. Thanks Mr. Kryczka you were an amazing teacher.

Auntie Vi, Terry, Mark and Kathy. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Having just been though it with mom I know how this feels. Uncle Ted will be remembered by the many times we spent dropping by the house whenever we came to visit Grandma and Grandpa. If you weren't there one of us kids had to run around to find the broom to stick in between the doors. Now when you were home, the hospitality was so sincere and inviting. As a young child and growing up, there was always the one thing that never changed in your home- the view from that living room window- a million dollar view.  Berry picking with Uncle Ted and dad-a true experience- one that will never be forgotten. especially as I watched him climb up to those brushes like a mountain goat.I will remember uncle Ted with many fond memories. Love to you all, Joanne

Vi, Terry, Mark, Kathy and family - Tom and I are saddened to hear of Ted's passing.  We have many fond memories of the "street" Christmas gatherings and playing bocce in the summer.   We can't join you this weekend for the celebration of Ted's life but all of you will be in our thoughts.

They say it takes a village to raise a child. Ted was part of my village. Monday through Friday, he was my math teacher and my assistant principal, dignified and grace in his suit and tie. On the weekends and during holidays he was Uncle Ted, reading in his chair in the corner of the living room while Kathy and I played barbies in the basement, or tending his beautifully manicured yard and gardens as we ran wild out doors. Always he was a constant in my life - one of the adult figures who helped to guide me and shape me into the adult person I would become. Vi, Kathy, Mark, Terry and families, I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that my thoughts are with you.
