Kevin Leverne LaPrete

   It is with profound sadness and dismay that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, devoted father, and cherished brother, Mr. Kevin Leverne LaPrete of Bellevue, Alberta, who died on April 18, 2019 at the age of 44 years.

   Kevin was born on January 29, 1975 in Coleman, Alberta to parents Norman and Shareen LaPrete.  He was instilled with a passion for the majestic outdoors of the Crowsnest Pass.  Kevin enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and exploring the off-road trails in his side-by-side razor.  

   Kevin was blessed with a loving wife, children and a rewarding job as a heavy equipment operator.  He was grateful for every moment spent with his family and did his best to be available and provide for them.  A loyal friend, a devoted husband and father, and a generous and eccentric man – Kevin will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.

   He is survived by his wife, Jen LaPrete; his sons, Rick and Chase LaPrete; his sister, Shauna (Shannon) Arsenault; his grandparents, Frank & Edith Petras; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; as well as his many colleagues and friends.  He was predeceased by is parents, Norm & Shareen LaPrete.

   A Memorial Service celebrating Kevin’s life will be held later in the summer.  Donations in memory may be directed towards S.T.A.R.S. Air Ambulance, (Box 570, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Calgary, AB T2E 8M7).  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
