William Joseph Kubik

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of William Kubik who was called to be with the Lord on August 6, 2015 at the age of 78 years.

   Bill was born on September 23, 1936 in Coleman, Alberta to Joseph and Mary Kubik.  He was raised with a great appreciation for family, friends and life’s simple blessings.  He was blessed with many endearing qualities; he was kind, considerate, wise and nurturing.  Bill married the love of his life, Joan Weber, and was devoted to her and grateful for their family whom he cherished.

   Bill was a great outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and was skilled at woodworking and landscaping.  He was a loving, kind and compassionate husband, father, grandfather and friend.  His family takes comfort in the knowledge that he is at peace and in the company of his beloved Joan once more. 

   He is survived by his children, Rod (Vicki) Kubik and Carolee (Rob) Ison; his grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer Dowdell) Ison and Zane Kubik; his brother Robert (Deb) Kubik; His Sister Kathy Zurich; his step grandchildren Geordi Tuck and Carrie (Dave) Tuck-Jetz; numerous nieces and nephews as well as the many friends he made throughout his lifetime.  He was predeceased by his loving wife Joan Kubik and his parents, Joseph & Mary Kubik.

   Bill’s life will be honoured by his family at a private Graveside Service.  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
