Theresa Mary (Bone) White

   It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Theresa Mary White of Hillcrest Mines, Alberta who was called to be with the Lord on December 6, 2016 while receiving compassionate care at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre in Blairmore.  Terri was blessed with 67 years of life.

   Born on November 1, 1949 in Drumheller, AB to parents Gordon and Elizabeth Chambers, Terri cherished family and adored animals.  At an early age, she demonstrated kindness, independence, intelligence and generosity.  She blossomed into a lovely young lady and won the heart of Cliff White.  On October 8, 1966, the two were wed in holy matrimony and were further blessed with a family of their own. 

   Terri enjoyed crafts and realized her talent with painting and ceramics.  She opened her own ceramics studio and became certified in many areas of the industry from Duncan products instructor to quality control and educational consultant of various programs and course guides.  She completed around 94 advanced ceramics educational programs.  Because of Terri, many people became intrigued in learning the joy and magic of the ‘world’s most fascinating hobby’. 

   Terri also had a passion for gardening, sewing, cooking, computers and helping those in need.  She taught herself computers skills and accounting practices to manage their two businesses and still found time for family and holiday celebrations.  She battled cancer and several other health issues while demonstrating how courageous and positive and person can be - a devoted wife, caring mother and grandmother, cherished sister and aunt, Terri will be forever fondly remembered and dearly missed.  May she find peace and comfort with our Lord where illness and hardship are no more. 

   She is survived by her beloved husband of fifty years, Cliff White of Hillcrest Mines; her children, Nick (Patty English) White of Red Deer and Christina (Helmut) Beck of Strathmore; her grandson, Logan Beck; her siblings, Tim (Ardyth) Chambers of Blairmore, John (Annabelle) Chambers of Vernon, David (Debbie) Chambers of Red Deer, Judy (Dick) Marquardt of Coleman and Daphne (Dan) Orton of Shaunovan, SK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

   She was predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Elizabeth Chambers.

   The Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 1:00 pm in Fantin's Funeral Chapel in Blairmore with Rev. Dr. A. Christopher Smith officiating.  Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Union Cemetery. 
   In lieu of flowers, condolences may be directed towards the Canadian Cancer Society or the Arthritis Society.  Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
