It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phyllis Love on May 6, 2016. She passed away peacefully in the comforts of her home at the age of 80 years.
Phyllis was born on March 1, 1936 in Nottingham, England to loving parents Mabel and Victor Brown. She grew into a beautiful, caring young woman who drew the attention of a handsome young man, George Love. The happy couple wed on May 25, 1956 in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, and in May 1998, they made the Crowsnest Pass their home.
In her free time, Phyllis enjoyed sewing, crafting and reading, and she was a devoted and active member of the Salvation Army Home League. Her warmth and giving, generous nature will be remembered always.
Left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her beloved children, Kevin Love of Hillcrest, AB, Vicki Love of Edmonton, AB and Ann (Derwin) Bonney of Bellevue, AB; her cherished grandchildren, Sally Maetche, Damon Verheyden, Paricia Helgason, Rachel Bonney and Kaylyn Bonney; her treasured great grandchildren, Kyler, Katryna, Damon, Kaleb and Riley; her sister, Leslie Fennel of the United Kingdom; her cousin, Marion Lander; as well as the many friends she made throughout her life.
She was predeceased by her husband, George; her parents, Mabel & Victor Brown; and her son, Barry Love.
